Beyond a speed test.
Know what your internet can do.

Measure your real browser download speed, upload speed, ping and jitter. Then check how well your connection matches the needs of your favorite game, video call or streaming service.

Internet speed test

Browser-based

Tests transfer real data. Balanced can use hundreds of MiB on fast connections; choose Data Saver on capped plans.

YOUR REAL NUMBERS

Five measurements. One clear picture.

Only completed network transfers are counted. A failed test will never invent a speed.

MEASURED TO THIS SERVER
↑UPLOAD—Real data sent to our server
◷PING · MEDIAN—HTTP response time
≋JITTER—Change between consecutive pings
◈FAILED REQUESTS—HTTP probe failures, not packet loss

A unique link appears after a complete test. Your app selection travels in the link, not a new database field.

Measured against our test server, not your ISP's core network or a game's actual servers. Browser overhead, server load, VPNs, caching, WiFi interference and distance can affect readings. This test is not ICMP ping or real packet-loss telemetry.

SMART CONNECTION CHECK

Will your internet handle it?

Select a game or app. The readiness report updates after a test, and you can change the selection without rerunning it.

    GOOD TO KNOW

    Questions before you test?

Does this test actually measure my internet speed?

Yes, it downloads and uploads real bytes and uses their measured transfer time. The result reflects the network path between your browser and our test server at that moment, not a guaranteed ISP line rate.

Can this tell me if VALORANT or Fortnite will lag?

It estimates readiness using download, upload, HTTP latency, jitter and failed HTTP requests. It cannot measure the game's actual latency, servers, anti-cheat or local PC frame rate. Try our gaming speed guide.

How much data does the test use?

It depends on your connection and test precision. Thorough mode runs more upload/download batches; Data Saver runs fewer. If you have a capped mobile plan, choose Data Saver first.

Why are results different from other websites?

Different test servers, test durations, protocols, connection paths and device load can produce different results. Pause big downloads and compare multiple runs at the same time of day.

What is the difference between Mbps and MB/s?

Mbps means megabits per second. MB/s means megabytes per second. There are eight bits per byte, so 80 Mbps is approximately 10 MB/s before other overhead.
